Throughout the Summer there are a large number of Vide Grenier (Car Boot Sales, literally translated, an Empty Loft). Most communes hold these, they are sometime a two day event over the weekend. They are entertaining to wander around in the sunshine even if you have no intention of buying anything.
If you havn't heard of What3Words, it is the new locator system for finding anything anywhere. It is a (random) selection of three words specific to a unique 3 metre square; whether that be in a busy town centre, an airport carpark, or the middle of a woodland.

Many of the large car manufacturers are now adding the App to their in-car navigation systems and emergency services are also making use of the software for locations which would otherwise be hard to find. It is free to download, and we recommend it for finding places listed on our website. We can recommend places to park. Picnic spots and even a usual spot for a market stall by using this innovative navigation tool.
